Nathaniel Meditation Center

The Nathaniel Meditation Center is a place where families and individuals come together with an open heart to find support after a loss or other traumatic life event. The Center encourages connection and diminishes isolation through mindfulness practices such as yoga, journaling, group support, sitting and walking meditation. These practices are used to cultivate inner strengths and support positive qualities of mind, body, and spirit.

"Finding Comfort and Meaning in the 4 Humble Abodes:
Love, Compassion, Joy, and Equanimity".

Coming home to our true nature means reconnecting to the qualities we all have at birth, but may have lost as we move through the difficulties of life after a traumatic event or loss. Reconnecting to our innate ability to feel love, compassion, joy, and equanimity helps to bring comfort to ourselves and others while building deeper and more profound meaning in our lives. This retreat will help you develop ways to cultivate love, compassion, joy and equanimity through meditation and mindfulness practices.

Loss and Healing
When the death of a child or other close loved one becomes a part of your life's journey, you are walking on a path so unique that only others who are on that path can walk it mindfully with you.
Our loved ones and children are as unique as our grieving, and grief needs a place where it can unfold and inform us on how to make this journey one of light and love. How we attend to all of our feelings, thoughts, and calls to action requires a space where we can sit and be with it all; mindfulness meditation practices allow for the heart to open to all that is.
